Pamela “Pam" James, DMA, is a music educator with more than 25 years of experience spanning general music education, choral direction, and church music ministry. She has led music programs at institutions including Good Shepherd Episcopal School, Albert Hill Middle School, and Appomattox Regional Governor's School, developing curricula that shaped music and theatre education across Richmond-area schools. Beyond the classroom, Pamela has served as a church Music Director, Organist, and Choir Director, and brings a rich performance background as a soprano soloist and chorister with ensembles including the Washington National Opera, Wolf Trap Opera, and the Washington Bach Consort. She also works as an adjudicator for Music in the Parks Choral Competitions and has accompanied on piano for organizations such as the Richmond Ballet and Shenandoah Conservatory.
