Rally Day: Mark Your Calendar

 This is a multi-generational event giving all ages an opportunity to learn about the formational opportunities here at Tuckahoe for the program year, September – May.

There will be light refreshments, a time to mingle, and an opportunity to hear from leaders about the numerous formational activities on Sunday mornings and throughout each month.

Following the overview, adults and youth are encouraged to join one of the two Sunday classes – the Discovery Class or the Contemporary Issues Class—or remain in Duntreath for activities planned with children 4 and up. Childcare will be provided for children ages 3 and younger. Make plans to attend and learn how you can participate and grow in your Christian faith throughout the year!

It is time to put the YMCA’s Bright Beginnings volunteer opportunity on your calendar!  Tuckahoe’s event is Monday, August 12^th from 5:00-7:45 pm.  We need 20-25 volunteers, ages 17 and up, to meet at the Tuckahoe Y where you will assist Henrico County’s less fortunate children in preparing for their school year.  Volunteers will assist the children as they select clothes, order shoes, choose backpacks, etc.

Please register below to help by July 31 or, if unable to volunteer, you can support the program through your financial contributions made to the church and marked “Bright Beginnings” by July 31.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Pat Miller.  Thank you for supporting this project of the Outreach Committee!
