The renovations are complete! The Interior Décor Committee and Session have reviewed and approved a proposal for furniture and accessories. We will keep you updated as to when we envision a rededication.

March, 2021

The Session has been diligently considering how to adapt our campus to be more conducive in serving our members and community with a special consideration for those with mobility challenges.

We are excited to share this video with you that outlines one phase of this vision which includes renovations to the church parlor, restrooms, and office area which will begin this March and be completed by the end of May.

We are pleased to let you know that since construction is occurring during a time of reduced on-campus activity, that in-person worship and other activities will continue.

We thank you for your on-going support of our mission and ministry.

LENT CALENDAR

February 17 - April 04

Much like an Advent calendar, this Lenten calendar invites you to “open a digital door” each day.  Behind it you will find a scripture, prayer, or a Lenten practice to engage in that day. (*Notes at bottom if you have any trouble! This is best viewed on a computer or tablet.) Notes: Days are not…

Much like an Advent calendar, this Lenten calendar invites you to “open a digital door” each day.  Behind it you will find a scripture, prayer, or a Lenten practice to engage in that day.

(*Notes at bottom if you have any trouble! This is best viewed on a computer or tablet.)

Notes:

  • Days are not in order on purpose, like an advent calendar. Scroll until you see the lowest # & start there. The doors you’ve already done will show those practices instead of the purple door.
  • It will only allow you to open through today, so if you start late or get behind, you can click on lowest # until you can’t! You don’t need to know what day of lent it is in order to use this.
  • When you click (or double click for some) on a door, it will open a pop-up with that day’s practice. On certain devices you have to scroll back to the top to see it.
  • If  you don’t see a pop-up, sometimes you have to scroll down & it may show where you need to ‘accept all cookies’ first which is how it will gray out the days you’ve viewed previously.
  • And forgive the reindeer, this is a spin off an advent calendar, but it’s very fitting as we begin Lent this year with the snow.

Rev. Rhyne and Rev.  Creager will lead us as we prepare our hearts for the Lenten season through a meaningful service and imposition of ashes.

Committing to walk with Jesus begins with first admitting that we are lifeless dust, that we cannot live as God desires us to without him, and then in that spirit, taking the needs of a dusty, fractured world to the cross awaiting the transformation that God brings through the Resurrection. New life emerges from death, rising from the ashes of the old life.
