NOTE – if you are looking to receive a Thanksgiving Food Box – We provide the boxes directly to the Henrico Department of Social Services.  You need to contact your Case Worker from DSS by November 20 to fill out a referral to receive a box.

Tuckahoe Presbyterian Church Members and friends!

It’s that time of year again for the Henrico Thanksgiving Food Box Project.  This project provides food for the Thanksgiving Holiday for families and individuals receiving services through the Henrico Department of Social Services.  Now more than ever we need your support.  Economic hardships have created greater food instability for many of our neighbors.  These food boxes provide a Thanksgiving meal that many would not be able to have otherwise.

Please drop off your groups’ box in the church library by Thursday, November 21.

When:          Saturday, March 26,  – 9 am to 12 pm

Where:        Tuckahoe parking lot

Criteria:      Limit (2) 1.2 cubic feet banker boxes or 2 paper sacks per vehicle

Vehicles may proceed through the line more than once

Empty containers will be returned to you

Filesecure RVA will quickly sort through items to insure there are

no metal or plastic items which damage their equipment

Important: Please remove all binder and paper clips. Staples are okay.

All participates remain in their car, this is a drive-thru event

Donation:  If you wish to bring a non-perishable food donation for FeedMore,

donations will be collected at this event.

It’s time for seeing old friends and getting acquainted with new folks. The Fellowship Committee invites you to bring your chairs and gather after worship in the paved parking lot for a catered boxed lunch.

This is a FREE event.

Please RSVP by Thursday, June 10th where you will indicate your choice of sandwich from roast beef, turkey with provolone, ham with swiss cheese, and veggie delight.
