For updates\, sign up for our weekly e-newsletter (link to sign up on the website). \nFor many\, the phrase “going to church” is synonymous with the act of attending a worship service. Being the church\, however\, means much more than assembling weekly in the sanctuary for the purpose of singing songs\, praying\, and hearing a sermon. Worship is at the heart of what we do when we come together as God’s people\, but worship\, moreover\, tells us who we are and equips us with the encouragement we need to live the other days of the week in response to the call of Jesus. \nOur prayer for people who attend worship at Tuckahoe is that they will experience the presence of God\, but also that they will leave knowing that they are welcome here just as they are. \nFor members\, click here to sign up as a liturgist.

SUMMARY:Disaster Relief Mission Trip
DESCRIPTION:For the week of June 21-27\, a group from TPC will travel to Spruce Pine\, NC\, to help families and churches rebuild damage sustained in September of 2024 due to Hurricane Helene. Anyone 16 years of age or older is welcome\, and you can come for the full week or just part of the week. Suggested donations to cover food\, transportation\, and lodging are $75 for youth and $150 per adult. Payment can be made HERE. Scholarships are available if needed. Do not let a lack of experience deter you; everyone will be able to contribute to the effort. If you can’t come and would like to support the mission financially\, that would be greatly appreciated. \nRegister HERE by May 21 or make a monetary donation. Join us for an informational meeting on Sunday\, May 31\, at 9:45am\, in Room 106 to discuss next steps for those interested in participating.
