Rise Against Hunger

The Rise Against Hunger packaging event returns to Tuckahoe on Saturday, March 21!

Rise Against Hunger works in countries worldwide to fight hunger by providing volunteer-packaged meals. 

Our goal this year is to package 28,080 meals starting at 8:45am.

We need 120 volunteers and have a goal of raising $11,500 to cover the cost of the meals.

This is an excellent opportunity for all of us to engage in a multi-generational, hands-on, impactful event to benefit those across the globe in ‘food-challenged’ situations.  Neighbors, friends, and co-workers are all welcome to participate – a simple way to invite someone to church and let them see what an amazing place Tuckahoe can be for worshiping and serving God! Childcare will be provided during the event for children under 4 years of age from 8:45 until 11:30 am. If you plan to utilize the childcare, please email Jillian, so that we have an accurate count.
