PREPARING FOR LENT…Even though Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on March 2, we are starting our preparation. This Sunday, we begin a new Sermon Series as we prepare our journey through Lent together, “Talking the Talk and Walking the Walk”. Carson will be preaching a series of sermons in February on the basics of the faith. The topics are:
THEN, DURING LENT, …we shall have the opportunity to participate in a study on “Forgiveness” by Marjorie Thompson where we put into practice the beliefs we hold. Our hope is that we will have a number of small groups (i.e., existing groups, neighborhood groups, care/share groups) that would covenant to study this book. Further details will be forthcoming as we make final plans. So, it is time to “get ready!” Join us as we explore our faith in depth.
