Church School

Tuckahoe offers a great variety of opportunities for Christian worship, education,  fellowship and service.  On Sunday, a traditional schedule is followed, with chruch school at 9:30am followed by worship at 11:00am (10:00 am in the summer).  Infants through the first graders are cared for in three age-appropriate nurseries.  At the beginning of each month there is First Sunday Children's Church for 4 years old through first grade.  These sessions are led by Becky Loggins with assistance by classroom teachers.  Godly Play is led in First Sunday Children's Church for 4 through first grade.

 

Childern's Sunday school classes are divided by age or school grade from age 2 through Grade 5.  Youth classes include middle school and senior high.  The goal of all classes is to nurture spiritual growth and to expore how Christian faith is central to our lives by examining Biblical themes and events as well as the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.

 

How much do you know about the Bible?  about Christian history or different ways of praying?  about Christian stewardship or Christian theology?  Do you know why most Christians worship on Sundays?  No matter what your age, there is much to learn from classes offered at Tuckahoe Presbyterian church.  There is an adult class for you.
