Our mission is to listen to Jesus carefully,

to worship God gratefully,
to share the good news with our neighbor, and
to help one another heal those who hurt.

Membership Division

Realizing that church membership is a privilege, a responsibility and a commitment to Jesus Christ, the members of this division welcome our visitors and encourage them to continue to worship with us. Programs for new members to help them strengthen their relationship with Tuckahoe include assignment to a Deacon, and a meal or dessert with our Senior Pastor and other church members where questions about instruction, ministry, communication and caring assistance to those in need may be discussed.

New members are encouraged to join one of the church groups - a Sunday School class, Men's Breakfast group, Presbyterian Women, a mission project or a discussion/fellowship group. Fellowship activities include the Wednesday Night Family supper, the church golf tournaments, and the Parent's Night Out program.

The Membership Division is also responsible for keeping a record of attendance, performing an annual review of church membership and updating the annual and pictorial church directories.

The Mission and Service Division offers mission opportunities throughout the world and the community, funding various charitable organizations within the Richmond metropolitan area.

Among the organizations supported by TPC are: Adult Care Services: Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Central Virginia: Crestview School After School Program: Emergency Shelter, Inc.: Interfaith Service of Henrico County-ISH: Meals-On Wheels: Presbyterian Homes & Family Services, Inc.: T-Mac Program and other recognized organizations in need.

Other responsibilities include four special Mission Offerings throughout the year, communication with our missionaries, the Clugy Sotos, and participation in such special mission projects as CARITAS and HABITAT for HUMANITY.
