As we move through these early months of 2008, we are beginning a new chapter in the history of our church. I am excited about the future of Tuckahoe's ministry. Steven Good, our Associate for Youth and Family Ministries,  has been with us enough months to move our young people into a new place. We have had a successful stewardship campaign that signals our congregation's support. We are beginning a Capitol Campaign effort to renew our facilities. Tuckahoe for years has been devoted to outreach and service in our community. We continue to do great things in mission. We have added a new Sunday school class for Seekers. This is a great time to come and get involved with all that is going on among us!

Parish Nurses Plant Seeds of Wellness

The Parish Nurse is a professional person called to the ministry of holistic health. The emphasis of this ministry will be to encourage and teach all members to live life in its fullest by emphasizing holistic health. Holistic health is being healthy in body, mind and spirit. Healing and wholeness have always been at the very center of the church's life.Jesus was a healer. His healing was not only physical, but he also healed the wounds of isolation, he restored hope, he healed the brokenness of relationships, he reached out to those who were lost, sick, and in need of wholeness.
